Our stay at Casa 68 was absolutely incredible! From the beautiful, comfortable villa to the exceptional service, everything exceeded our expectations.

Nelson was a phenomenal host who went above and beyond, helping us with transportation, restaurant recommendations, and every little detail. The butler was equally exceptional — incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, and always there to assist.

As an aircraft manager who travels extensively and has experienced many hotels and villas around the world, I have high expectations, and Casa 68 truly felt like a five-star hotel with the comfort and privacy of a beautiful home.

I’m not usually a big fan of Airbnb, but Casa 68 completely changed my perspective. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The villa is beautifully appointed from the living areas to the bedrooms. The whole house, garden area and pool are spotless. The house is in an urban area of other homes, mostly local people. The view out to sea and across Madeira is amazing and a joy to wake up to every morning. Locally you can walk down to a small beach and municipal bathing area by the sea. There are bars and a good restaurant in the cliff side with great views. It’s very popular with the locals. Funchal is steep in places and the villa is quite high up. There are lots of taxis at reasonable rates available if you don’t want to walk. Funchal is lovely with lots of outside restaurants and bars and a good supermarket.

The villa itself is easy to use if you wish to cook and eat in, and a superb breakfast is provided by the fantastic concierge Nava. Nava is incredibly helpful and a lovely man. He’s discreet but there if you need him. We all appreciated his delightful manner. We had a fantastic 2 weeks.
