The 250° W has a second balcony, facing west. From November to February the sun goes down in front of it — the harbour, the water, and whatever ship is in.
Below, a mineral pool held at 30 °C (86 °F) in January as in July. It does not sting your eyes. Breakfast is included, cooked when you ask for it rather than when the kitchen opens, and the orange juice is squeezed that morning. A concierge is here at every hour.
A king bed and a bathroom of its own with a walk-in shower. Sockets with USB-A and USB-C on both bedside tables. The room looks south and west, over the sea and over the town, and the second balcony faces the sunset. The bed is dressed in Torres Novas bed linen on a hotel-grade mattress, with three firmnesses of pillow to choose from. A Smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, mirrors that do not fog, and a bathroom stocked with everything you would otherwise have packed. Heading 250° West.

Due to the exclusive nature of the property and limited availability:
– Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival are refundable, excluding payment processing costs
– Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable
– No-shows and early departures are non-refundable
Guests are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required prior to arrival as standard practice for high-value private residences.
The deposit is returned following post-departure inspection, provided no damages or exceptional cleaning requirements are identified.

Es gibt Orte, die sofort ein Gefühl von Ruhe und Exklusivität vermitteln – CAIS68 ist genau so ein Ort. Das Adults-Only-Konzept macht hier einen spürbaren Unterschied: keine Hektik, keine Ablenkung, sondern eine wohltuende, entspannte Atmosphäre, die Raum für Privatsphäre und echte Erholung lässt.
Der Service ist außergewöhnlich. Nicht laut, nicht aufgesetzt – sondern aufmerksam auf eine fast intuitive Art. Man hat das Gefühl, dass einem jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen wird, bevor man ihn überhaupt formuliert. Genau diese leise Perfektion macht den Aufenthalt so besonders.
Der Poolbereich ist ein Highlight für sich. Mit Blick auf den Hafen und die einlaufenden Kreuzfahrtschiffe entsteht eine fast meditative Stimmung – Bewegung in der Ferne, während man selbst in absoluter Ruhe verweilt. Dieser Kontrast ist beeindruckend und macht jeden Moment dort besonders.
Das gesamte Konzept wirkt durchdacht, stilvoll und konsequent umgesetzt. Kein Zufall, kein Detail ohne Sinn. CAIS68 ist kein gewöhnliches Boutique-Hotel – es ist ein Rückzugsort für Menschen, die Wert auf Atmosphäre, Diskretion und Qualität legen.

Fantastische huis met uitzicht op zee, een heerlijk buiten met pool, smaakvolle inrichting en prachtige slaapkamers met eigen luxe sanitair! 🤩👌 Op loopafstand van Funchal met parkeerplek. En als je wil een ontbijt naar keuze. Absolute aanrader !!
